How pricing works

Graded slabs

Prices come from recent eBay sold listings, matched to the exact card identity — set, number, finish, edition, and label tier when it matters (BGS Black Label, CGC Pristine, and similar). Each variant gets its own comp set; holo and reverse holo are never mixed.

Raw cards

NM through DMG prices pull from TCGplayer market data and eBay sold comps by detected condition. You can browse the full grade ladder for any card across PSA, BGS, CGC, SGC, TAG, ACE, and AGS.

Sealed products

Booster boxes, ETBs, and other sealed items use TCGplayer and eBay sold data, same as the rest of the app.

What's in the app

• Collection — save cards with purchase price and notes; portfolio snapshots show value changes over time.
• Price alerts — get notified when a card moves above or below a target.
• AI pre-grade — optional grade estimate on raw cards before you submit to a grader (included with DEX Collector and DEX PRO).
• Share a collection — send a read-only link so someone else can browse your portfolio.

Sold comps and charts are free. Subscriptions unlock more scans, faster price refreshes, extra collections, and AI pre-grade credits.

Free: 15 card scans + 5 slab scans per day (15 lifetime without an account). Paid plans: unlimited.

Account & data

SlabDex is operated by SOMNIARE LLC. You can use the app without an account (15 lifetime scans as a guest). Creating an account lets your collection sync across devices.

If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email — that's the only Google profile data we get. Card photos, purchase prices, and notes you save stay in your account until you delete them. We don't sell user data or run third-party ad trackers.
